Terms and Conditions

General 

By engaging with Solarbear Energies LLP, the Consumer (First Party) and the Vendor (Second Party) agree to the following standard operating terms for Rooftop Solar (RTS) projects under the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana:

1. Scope of Work

  • Services: Solarbear Energies LLP shall provide design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the RTS system.

    ​

  • Maintenance: A 5-year Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) is included, covering overhauling, wear and tear, and regular health checks from the date of DISCOM commissioning.

    ​

  • Standards: All modules and inverters must be manufactured in India (DCR compliant) and conform to MNRE/BIS/IEC standards.

    ​

2. Obligations of the Consumer

  • Applications: The consumer is responsible for online applications on the National Portal and net-metering submissions.

  • Site Access & Utilities: The consumer must provide secure storage for materials, roof access, electricity for installation, and water for panel cleaning.​

  • Reporting: Any system malfunctions during the warranty period must be reported promptly to the vendor.

3. Obligations of the Vendor

  • Site Survey: Conduct a feasibility study, including roof strength and shadow-free area analysis.

  • Grid Connectivity: The vendor is responsible for net-meter procurement, testing, approvals, and final grid connection.

  • Performance Guarantee: The plant must maintain a Performance Ratio (PR) of 75% at the time of commissioning and throughout the 5-year warranty.

4. Payment & Financing

  • Standard Schedule:

    • Booking Fee: ₹1,000 (Non-refundable, adjusted against final payment).

    • Advance: 40% of Gross Project Value prior to material procurement.

    • Material Dispatch: 50% upon delivery of equipment to the site.

    • Commissioning: Final 10% upon successful system startup by DISCOM.

  • Financing: Consumers may opt for bank financing through participating PSUs, subject to credit assessment and submission of Aadhaar, PAN, and electricity bills.

5. Legal & Disputes

  • Force Majeure: Neither party is liable for delays caused by acts of God (floods, earthquakes), war, or government restrictions.

  • Jurisdiction: Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

 

Grand Holi Offer: Terms & Conditions

Offer Details: Get a flat ₹20,000 discount on the Gross Project Value for 3 kW On-Grid Solar System bookings.

  • Validity: This offer is valid only for bookings made on or before March 10, 2026.

  • Eligibility:

    • Applicable exclusively to 3 kW On-Grid Rooftop Solar projects.

    • Offer is valid only on select brands/models of solar panels and inverters as specified by Solarbear Energies LLP at the time of the site survey.

  • Standard Installation Assumptions:

    • The discounted pricing is based on a standard structure design where the front leg height is 3 feet.

    • Any customization or additional structural requirements (e.g., high-rise structures, specialized walkways, or additional cabling) will be treated as "additional work" and invoiced separately.

  • Application: The ₹20,000 discount will be deducted from the Gross Project Value .

  • Non-Transferable: This offer cannot be clubbed with any other ongoing promotion or referral scheme.
